How Our Skip Hire Comparison Works
One enquiry instead of five phone calls. We check availability and pricing with licensed local suppliers, and you pick the quote that suits you. Free to use, no obligation.
The Three Steps
From your enquiry to a skip on your drive, here is exactly what happens.
Tell Us What You Need
Call or send a quick request with your postcode, the skip size you think you need, your dates, and what kind of waste is going in. Not sure about size? Say so, and we will help you choose before anything is passed on. It takes under a minute.
We Check the Local Network
Your enquiry goes to licensed suppliers covering your postcode, matched on size, dates, and waste type. Heavy rubble loads, road placements needing permits, and tight-access addresses are flagged so suppliers quote accurately the first time.
You Pick Your Quote
Available suppliers come back to you directly with pricing and delivery options. You compare, choose, and book straight with the supplier. If nothing suits, walk away, it costs you nothing.
Our Network Standards
Every supplier in the network signs up to the same rules. These are the ones that protect you.
Licensed Waste Carriers
Suppliers must hold a valid Environment Agency waste carrier licence. This matters: if waste from your skip is fly-tipped, the householder can be held responsible, so legal handling is the foundation of the whole network. You can verify any carrier on the public register at environment.data.gov.uk.
Insured Operations
Public liability insurance appropriate to skip delivery and collection is a condition of receiving enquiries from us.
The Quote Is the Price
Suppliers quote with delivery, collection, and disposal included, and flag anything that could cost extra (permits, heavy waste, overloading) before you book rather than after.
Accountable
Late deliveries, surprise charges, or poor service affect whether a supplier keeps receiving enquiries from us. Tell us when something goes wrong, because it has consequences.
What It Costs
Typical local pricing, and why the final number varies.
Our Service
Free. Suppliers pay us for the enquiries we pass to them, which keeps the comparison free for you and does not get added to your quote.
The Skip Itself
Typical local prices start from around £150 for a 2 yard mini skip and rise with size, to around £400 for a 12 yard maxi. The final price depends on skip size, waste type, permit requirements, and availability, which is what your supplier confirms in their quote.
